Official images of the 2015 Subaru Legacy (Liberty in Australia) have leaked onto the web ahead of the car’s official debut at the Chicago Auto Show later this month.
It is another disappointment from the Japanese automaker, as the conservatively styled sedan almost looks old before it hit the showrooms, and is nothing like the stunning Legacy concept it showed the world in Los Angeles last year.
There is an upright trapezoidal grille flanked by a pair of headlights with similar graphics to the Subaru WRX, while in silhouette, the raked windscreen and sloping roofline at least give the car a more dynamic look compared to its predecessor. At the back, the blend styling continues with taillights that mimic a 2004 Audi A4.
Inside, the dashboard is all new and built with seemingly more premium materials.
