2015 Skoda Superb official images leaked

Official images of the all-new fourth-generation Skoda Superb has leaked onto the web. The images were reportedly accidentally published by the Czech carmaker itself and removed soon after, but not before the guys from Skodahome grabbed the images.

As you can see from the images, Skoda’s new flagship looks much better proportioned than its predecessor, with a chiselled bonnet and strong character line running along the sides of the car. At the back, the upmarket LED taillights give the car a premium look.

Scheduled for a full revealed today at a special event in Prague, Czech Republic, the new Superb is based on the Volkswagen Passat B8 and is expected to be larger and more spacious inside compared to its German cousin.

Inside, the cabin utilises bits and pieces from the Volkswagen parts bin, including a larger 8-inch touchscreen and electric park brake.

Like before, the Superb you see here is likely to be a liftback, with a Combi (wagon) variant joining he range later this year. While Skoda has no intention of brining a Superb vRS to the market, the company has hinted it may produce a “sportier” version with racier styling.
