2013 Lexus LS leaked online

The facelifted 2013 Lexus LS has been leaked online ahead of its official debut next Tuesday in San Francisco through Chinese website XCar.

The car in these pictures is the new Lexus LS460 F Sport, a new variant which has been confirmed by Lexus. As expected, Lexus’ new flagship now incorporates the company’s signature ‘spindle’ grille, first appeared on the recently launched Lexus GS. The headlamp also sports the Lexus trademark  ‘L’ shaped LED daytime running lights.

In the F Sport, the grille is finished in black while the lower front air intakes are more aggressively styled. The new taillights as well as headlights are dark tinted and the car rolls on new multi-spoke grey alloy wheels. The rear bumper adopts a subtle diffuser flanked by a pair of elongated exhaust tips.

Under the bonnet, engine packages are said to mimic those found in the current model. These include a 4.6-litre V8 with 280kW (375hp/381PS), and a 5.0-litre V8 hybrid with 327kW (438hp/445PS).
