2012 Australian Motor Show set to be largest and most interactive yet

The 2012 Australian International Motor Show (AIMS) will throw its doors open starting this Friday, 19 October at the Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre.

Organisers have touted this year’s show to be one of the country’s largest and most interactive yet. There will be a total of 27 brands exhibiting their latest range of vehicles, as well new and future models for the local market. Many exhibitors are also showcasing brand-new stand designs for the first time.

“We have been overwhelmed by the enthusiasm of exhibitors this year, at least eight have confirmed to us they will be revealing all-new stands and we are hearing fantastic things about innovative new features and elaborate layouts,” said Russ Tyrie, Event Director.

“There is no doubt visitors to the Show will enjoy the outdoor component on offer at this year’s Show. Exhibitors have gone to great lengths to ensure the experiences are exciting with plenty of interaction and engagement.

“Whilst we cannot reveal all the details, we will say though that those who visit the 2012 Motor Show will be able to experience things they have never been able to do before at any Motor Show in Australia.”

The 2012 Australian International Motor Show will open daily at 10am from 19 – 28 October and we will be bringing you the latest news and photos from the show.

So, make sure you check back in on the 19th.
