Tuned: Kicherer Mercedes SLS AMG Supercharged GT

The Mercedes SLS AMG has been given a performance tweak by German tuner Kicherer. The 6.2-litre V8 in the SLS AMG is strapped with a supercharger and the standard exhaust is replaced with a full stainless steel system with valve control.

The upgrades boost power from the standard 571 horsepower (425kW) to 700 horsepower (522kW) and a massive 840Nm of torque, enough to launch the large coupe from 0-100 kph in just 3.4 seconds and achieve a top speed of over 300 kph.

In the cosmetics department, the Kicherer Mercedes SLS AMG Supercharged GT spots a hand-crafted front grille, carbon fibre front lip spoiler, carbon fibre rear diffuser, redesigned bonnet and bespoke fins for the front fenders. The entire exterior is finished in matte black.

The Kicherer SLS AMG also gets a new set of adjustable coilover sports suspension, dropping the car by 30mm. The lower ride height is complemented with a new set of 20-inch alloys for the front axle and 21-inch for the rear.
