This Top Secret V12-powered Toyota Supra could be yours!

What you’re looking at is arguably the ultimate Toyota Supra that even the upcoming new model (if that’s what Toyota decides to call it) will struggle to beat. This V12-powered, previous generation Toyota Supra is the work of Japanese tuning house, Top Secret, and it could be yours!

Set to go on auction at the Tokyo Auto Salon in January, this widebody Supra features a 5.0-litre V12 out of a JDM Toyota Century in place of its stock 3.0-litre inline six, but that’s not all; Top Secret has also installed a turbocharger for each bank of cylinders along with nitrous injection that pumps the total output to a massive 694kW and 1,010Nm of torque. For comparison, that’s 150kW more than even the mighty Lamborghini Aventador S!

No performance figures have been released except for the fact that this wide bodied Supra is capable of reaching an insane speed of over 357km/h.

In terms of styling, according to Kazuhiko Nagata from Top Secret who created the custom Supra, he meant for the wide body kit’s angular design to point to a future look for the Japanese coupe by removing its curves for a edgier look.

The previous-generation Toyota Supra was a cult model in its heyday, especially in Japan’s enormous tuning scene. It has also garnered a strong following here in Australia despite not officially sold in this country.

The next-generation model, which is co-developed with BMW, is expected to hit the market sometime next year.
