TechArt GTStreet R Cabriolet puts 340km/h wind in hair

Need more air in your hair? Look no further than this TechArt GTStreet R Cabriolet. Based on the Porsche 911 Turbo S Cabriolet and featuring a pumped up 3.8-litre twin-turbo flat-six that now cranks out 530kW and a stout 920Nm of torque, this soft-top will whiz you from zero to 100km/h in just 2.7 seconds.

It comes courtesy of an ECU kit, sport air intake filter, TechArt turbochargers with variable turbine geometry and a sports exhaust system with stepless valve adjustment. The transmission also receives TechArt’s gearbox management calibration.

Matching the impressive performance is an aggressive body kit that includes deeper front bumper and active front spoiler lip that reshape the airflow around the car and wheelarch extensions that can be filled by either 20- or 21-inch wheels. The front wheelarch also features vents fashioned after those on the 911 GT3 RS, while large air scoops reside just ahead of the rear wheels.

At the back, the deeply sculpted rear bumper houses four exhaust tips in the centre, while a huge rear wing sits atop the decklid.

The GTStreet R is capable of hitting 200km/h from standstill in a mere 8.5 seconds, 300km/h in 23.3 seconds and has a top speed of 340km/h.
