Startech has unveiled their Range Rover Sport at the 2013 Essen Motor Show. The sporty Range Rover is given a more distinctive and dynamic look with an aerodynamic body kit that comprises a new front bumper with larger air intake and an extra pair of LED daytime running lights.

There is also an integrated wing profile that is said to contribute towards further lowering negative lift on the front axle.

At the other end, a new rear bumper with air ducts integrated on both sides, a rear diffuser and a pair of stainless-steel sport exhaust system gives the SUV an aggressive stance.

To complement the new look, Startech has fitted a set of 22-inch Monostar R five-spoke alloy wheels shod in 285/35R22 tyres. The car is then lowered by about 25mm for better handling and agility via an electronically controlled Startech suspension module for the factory air-suspension. During off-road excursions, the SUV standard ride height is maintained.

Finally, a new ECU map unleashes an extra 22kW and 80Nm from the 3.0-litre SDV6 turbo-diesel engine that generates 215kW and 600Nm from factory, enabling the Range Rover Sport to complete the 0-100km/h dash in 6.9 seconds. Its top speed has also increased to 222km/h.
