Fancy a hatch-only Ford Focus ST but need a boot? Not a problem. Ford go-fast expert SS Tuning has released this ‘Ford Focus ST sedan’, a special build using a standard booted Focus and all the performance bits from the Focus ST hot hatch.
The Focus ST sedan gets the hatch’s bumper, side skirts and front grille. That’s not all, as the tuner has also slapped on a bespoke wide body kit consisting of pumped wheel arches, side sills, front splitter and a rear spoiler from the Subaru WRX STI.
And the result is truly impressive to say the least. Rolling on 19-inch wheels, it looks very much like a factory build.
Under the bonnet, the sedan’s vanilla mill has been replaced with a potent 2.0-litre turbocharged engine from the Focus ST hatch, sending 184kW and 340Nm to the front axle through the ST hatch’s six-speed manual gearbox.
Nothing is spared in the transplant, as the ST sedan also scores the ST hatch’s sports suspension, Recaro sport seats, Alcantara headliner and ST performance instruments.
SS Tuning has not released pricing details for the conversion.
