SR Auto Audi S5 Typhon

Last week we featured the JMS tuned Audi S5 which we think looks right on the money with its VIP style bodykit. Audi’s sporty grand tourer receives yet another treatment this week. This time from Canadian tuner SR Auto Group.

It is called the SR Auto Audi S5 Typhon. In contrast to JMS’s VIP style package, SR Auto chose a more racy and vulgar theme for their S5. The package consists of both exterior and mechanical modifications. The most distinctive element of the exterior changes is the matte black finish. This is paired with a set of 20 inch black lightweight wheels. The front bumper sees an addition of a lip spoiler and the rear bumper spots a diffuser. Both panels are made of light weight carbon fibre. The look is further improved with the car sitting lower on a new sports suspension.

Performance modification includes an ECU retune of the 4.8 litre v8 and a new sports exhaust system. SR Auto has yet to release the performance figures of the S5 Typhon. But we expect to see a slight increase in power of between 50-70 horsepower from the factory 354 horsepower.
