German tuner Oettinger have rolled out their latest project based on the Mk7 Volkswagen Golf R. Fitted with a larger turbo, high performance exhaust system and a stage 1 ECU remap, the 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine in Oettinger VW Golf R is able to put out 268 kW of power and 470 Nm of torque, a substantial increase over the factory’s 206 kW / 380 Nm.

With the added punch, the all-wheel-drive Golf R can now chew its way to 100 km/h in just 4.0 seconds flat, en route to an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h.

Complimenting the bulletproof performance is an exterior styling package. It consists of front lip spoiler, rear apron with larger diffuser, roof spoiler and deeper side skirts. The Oettinger Golf R rolls on custom Oettinger 19-inch or optional 20-inch wheels.

The Oettinger tuned Golf R will be on display at the Wörthersee Golf GTI meeting in Austria from 28 to 31 May.
