Sure, 500kW and 760Nm is a lot of power, but nothing is too much power. Exotic tuner Novitec is turning the whip up on this Ferrari 488 GTB Spider with a performance upgrade package that sees the open-top Italian beauty churning out a colossal 575kW and 892Nm.

The stronger output from the 3.9-litre twin-turbo V8 is courtesy of a new engine mapping with optimised ignition and boost pressure, improved intake and upgraded exhaust system. The added punch is enough to propel the supercar from 0 to 100km/h in just 2.8 seconds, en route to a top speed of 342km/h.

Taking a subtle yet effective approach to customisation, the German tuner equipped the supercar with a front lip spoiler, side sill extensions, new rear diffuser and rear skirts, and a fixed rear spoiler. All aero bits are of course made entirely from carbon fibre.

The customer can choose between ultra-light 21-inch forged wheels and slightly heavier, but larger 22-inch wheels. Those concerned about the lowered ride height can also option up a hydraulic lift suspension that is able to raise the front axle by up to 40mm at the push of a button.
