Audi tuning specialist MTM has released a new performance package for Audi’s top of the line R8 GT. The MTM treatment boosts the power output of the 5.2-litre V10 from 560hp / 540Nm to 606hp and 560Nm, thanks to a new engine tune. The six-speed R-tronic transmission has also been given a tweaked to reduce shift time.
The MTM Audi R8 GT gets from standstill to 100kph in 3.5 seconds, 0.1 second quicker than the standard R8 GT. Top speed is 322kph.
The package also includes a new titanum exhaust system that sheds 18kg off the R8’s weight, larger brakes, carbon fibre racing bucket seats and a host of carbon fibre aerodynamic body panels.
The MTM Audi R8 GT is priced at €203,000, compared to the standard R8 GT price of €193,000.
