Not happy with the performance of your Mercedes-Benz E 63 AMG? German tuner Posaidon has come to the rescue with a performance upgrade package for the super saloon.

The standard E 63 AMG already produces a fire breathing 430kW and 800Nm from its Biturbo 5.5-litre V8. Posaidon takes it to another level by bumping power output to a monstrous 627kW and 1,300Nm. The extra punch was extracted by strapping on two larger turbochargers, a customised exhaust system and new engine tune.

This allows the E 63 AMG to unleash the first 100km/h in under 4 seconds. Maxed out, it will crack 345km/h.

To get the power down to the road more effectively, Posaidon has revised the rear axle for improved tracktion. The gearbox has also been strengthen to cope with the added power.

If 627kW are too much to handle, Posaidon also offers less powerful packages with output ranging from 463kW to 551kW.
