Kelleners Sport Tuned BMW 1-Series M Coupé

The super hot 1 Series M Coupé has been given the once over by German aftermarket tuner, Kelleners Sport. They are one of the first to fiddle with the recently launched M car.

Named KS1-S, the crew at Kelleners Sport has massaged the M Coupé 3-litre straight-six to churn out 20% more power than the already healthy standard car. It now dishes out 410hp (306kW), just 10hp short of the E92 BMW M3. Torque has increased from 450Nm to a tire munching 550Nm or 405.7 lb-ft.

These figures mean the power to weight ration drops from 4.4kg/hp in the standard car to 3.8kg/hp in the KS1-S.

To make the car stand out from the garden variety 1-Series M Coupé as well as to improve aerodynamics, the German tuner has added a front splitter to minimise drag and increase downforce at high speeds. The trademark M quad exhaust pipes have also been replaced with larger diameter items (83mm).

The KS1-S rides on gorgeous new 20-inch alloy wheels wearing 245/30 rubbers at the front and 265/30 at the rear.

The car’s suspension has also been reworked. An adjustable coil-over system, which enables the driver to adjust both rebound and compression independently, has also been added.

The make-over continues into the cabin with two-tone black and white perforated leather and alcantara covering the dashboard, door panels and front and rear seats.
