Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 supercharged by GeigerCars

If you think the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8’s muscly 344kW of power and 624Nm of torque from its 6.4-litre V8 aren’t enough, German tuner GeigerCars is here for the rescue.

With the aim of surpassing the power output of SUVs like the BMW X5M and Range Rover Sport SVR, the tuner straps on a supercharger to the monstrous V8, upgraded the pistons and retuned the engine mapping. The result is a fire breathing 535kW and 776Nm melting at the crank.

The performance upgrade package costs 23,900 euros. Not cheap, but you end up with a full size SUV that is capable is demolishing the first 100km/h in a supercar beating 3.9 seconds, en route to a top speed of 295km/h.
