Since launch, the latest-generation Ford Mustang has quickly become a tuner favourite. And here’s one from German tuner HS Motorsport getting the usual power, suspension and wheels treatment.

The Mustang GT Convertible packs a 5.0-litre V8 engine under the bonnet that delivers 306kW and 530Nm in factory form. With a new engine mapping and higher flow stainless steel exhaust system, HS Motorsport was able to squeeze another 38kW and 13Nm to lift power output to 344kW and 543Nm. While no performance figures are mentioned, the extra power should be able to trim a fraction off the standard Mustang’s 0 to 100km/h sprint time of 4.8 seconds.

Complementing the added punch is a set of KW V3 coilover suspension and strut braces for tighter handling. The lowered ride height is matched with a set of 20-inch Vorsteiner V-FF 101 lightweight alloy wheels wrapped in sticky Michelin Pilot Super Sport tyres.
