Power obsessed tuner Hennessey Performance has turned the heat up on the Chevrolet Corvette C7 Z06 with two power upgrade packages.

Available for the 2015 and newer Corvette Z06 equipped with the LT4 supercharged 6.2-litre V8 engine, the HPE800 package upgrades the coupe’s intake manifold and replaces the standard intercooler and supercharger with larger items. The result is a lift in power from the already potent 491kW (659hp) to a fire-breathing 596kW (800hp).

If that is still not enough, the more powerful HPE850 package comes with an even larger supercharger which boost the output of the Z06 to a monstrous 633kW (850hp). Accompanying the added punch is a colossal 1000Nm of torque, up from the standard 881Nm. This allows the American supercar to rocket from 0 to 100km/h in a neck-breaking 2.7 seconds.
