625 kW / 850 horsepower, 1150 Nm (848 lb-ft) of torque, a top speed in excess of 350 km/h (217 mph). These are the performance figures of the Brabus 850 6.0 Biturbo that comes to the starting line as the legitimate successor of the famed Brabus 800 E V12.

Based on the current Mercedes E 63 AMG, the Brabus 850 6.0 Biturbo, is powered by a V8 BiTurbo which displacement has been increased from the standard 5.5-litres to 6.0-litres. Larger turbochargers have been fitted in place of the factory items, while the air intake system has been completely redesigned to feed larger amount and cooler air to the engine.

Charge air temperature is kept in check with the intake and charge air pipes wrapped in special heat insulation sheathing.

Expulsion comes from a Brabus high-performance exhaust system with controllable butterfly valve. At the push of a button the driver can choose between a quiet “Coming Home” mode and an earthy, full-blooded V8 sound when the “Sport” position is selected. Dual ceramic-coated tailpipes on either side with cast Brabus logo provide the visual treat.

Transferring the massive power to the tarmac is a modified SPEEDSHIFT MCT 7-speed sports transmission. In rear-wheel drive form the Brabus 850 6.0 Biturbo sprints from rest to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.7 seconds. 4MATIC all-wheel drive versions benefit from the added traction to demolish the first 100km/h in a supercar taming 3.1 seconds.

The terrifying performance is matched by an aerodynamic package consisting of a front lip spoiler designed to reduce negative lift on the front axle, and a rear diffuser insert which provides the perfect backdrop for the quad-pipe Brabus sport exhaust.

The Brabus 850 rolls on one-piece Brabus Monoblock wheels measuring 9.5×20 wrapped in 255/30 ZR 20 rubber on the front axle and 295/25 ZR 20 in the back. Optional Brabus Monoblock R “Platinum Edition” forged wheels can also be specified. They measure 9×20 in the front and size 10.5×20 on the rear axle.

Inside, the cabin is decked out with fine handcrafted leather interior, aluminum shift paddles and bespoke racing pedals.

The Brabus 850 6.0 Biturbo can be ordered as a complete car or converted from a standard Mercedes E 63 AMG.
