AC Schnitzer tunes BMW M6 Gran Coupe

AC Schnitzer has rolled out a new tuning package for the BMW M6 Gran Coupe. Showcased recently at the 2013 Bimmerfest in Germany, the black coupe was the crowd puller of the day with its black paint job and customised engine bay.

Full details have yet to be revealed but the high-revving 4.4-litre V8 engine with BMW’s M TwinPower Turbo technology has been tweaked to produce 462 kW (620 Hp) of power and a massive 790 Nm (582 lb-ft) of torque. In standard form, the M6 Gran Coupe develops 412 kW (560 Hp) and 680 Nm (501 lb-ft). The engine is matted to a 7-speed M Double Clutch Transmission with Drivelogic.

The AC Schnitzer M6 Gran Coupe rolls on a set of 21-inch alloy wheels, with a customised gold brake calipers tucked neatly inside. The front bumper gets a carbon fibre lip while the rear bumper is fitted with a carbon fibre diffuser with integrated square exhaust tips.

Pricing for the BMW M6 Gran Coupé in Australia starts from $299,500.
