ABT tweaks the Audi SQ5 TDI

Audi tuning specialist ABT has introduced a new tuning program for the Audi Sportsline’s mid size crossover, the SQ5 TDI.

The twin-turbo 3.0-litre V6 diesel engine has been tuned to lift power output from the standard 230 kW and 650 Nm to a healthy 265 kW and 700 Nm. The performance boost comes from a remapped engine management system, new ABT turbocharger and ABT exhaust system.

To cope with the extra power, the ABT SQ5’s handling has been tighten with a set of ABT sport coilover suspension and larger brake discs measuring 380 mm at the front axle and 345 mm at the rear.

In the looks department, the ABT SQ5 sports an ABT front grille, front lip spoiler, wheel fender extensions, rear spoiler and side skirts. Rolling stock is provided by a complete set of ABT wheels with sizes ranging from 20-inch to 22-inch.
