ABT Sportline tweaks new Audi S1 to 228kW/440Nm

ABT Sportline has introduced their tuning and styling package for the Audi S1 tiddler. The performance kit boosts the engine output from the EA888 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder unit from 170kW and 370Nm to 228kW and 440Nm.

While no performance figures have been released, with the big leap in power and torque, we have no doubt that the little all-wheel drive rocket will eclipse the standard car’s century sprint time of 5.8 seconds.

ABT has also created a subtle styling upgrade to go with the grunt. It gets a set of sports suspension that drops the car lower to the ground by a significant 30mm and promises to improve handling further. This is matched with a set of handsome 18-inch alloy wheels in matte titanium or gunmetal grey finish wrapped in 225/35 tyres.

There’s also a fender insert behind the front wheels, as well as an interior lighting package.

The standard Audi S1 will hit Australian showrooms in the 3^rd quarter of this year.
