ABT churns out 250kW Volkswagen Arteon “R”

After for a Volkswagen Arteon R? Look no further as long time Volkswagen cars tuner, ABT has taken the wraps off their tuned Arteon pumping out a potent 250kW and 420Nm of torque.

Based on the 206kW all-wheel drive Arteon 2.0 TSI, the tuner managed to wring out an extra 44kW and 70Nm of torque all by just tweaking the engine’s control unit.

While ABT hasn’t shared the car’s performance numbers just yet, it is safe to assume it will have no problem beating the standard car’s 5.6 seconds to 100km/h.

Besides fiddling with the engine, ABT’s Arteon has also gained stiffer springs that drop the car even closer to the road for a more aggressive stance. The sporty looks are further complimented by a set of custom two-tone 19-inch alloy wheels wrapped in 245/40 R19 tyres. A set of 20- and 21-inch wheels are also offered as an option.
