501 hp Porsche Panamera GTS tuned by Anderson Germany

For a Porsche purist, the Panamera is as sporty as Susan Boyle doing the 100m freestyle. However, there is no denying it fulfils a certain niche – family ‘racers’ who want to carry more than two people.   And when it comes to the Panamera GTS, in Porsche’s own words, is the “sportiest model in the range”.

It sits between the 294kW (394hp/400PS) Panamera 4S and 368kW (493hp/500PS) Panamera Turbo, and comes with a slightly tuned naturally aspirated 4.8-litre V8 engine generating 316kW (424/430PS).

Nevertheless, if you find the GTS still too tame, then your prayer has been answered. Anderson Germany has created a tuning package that starts off with a software upgrade and a three-stage adjustable sports exhaust system on the V8 that scales its output to a Panamera Turbo beating 374kW (501hp/508PS).

They have also swapped the stock suspensions with electronic height-adjustable suspensions that allow the driver to drop the GTS’s ride height by 30mm. The car also rolls on huge 22-inch alloys wrapped in 265/30-22 rubbers at the front and 295/25-22 at the rear.

The matte paint finished exterior too has been tarted up with a new body kit that comprises a new front bumper with an apron, headlamp surrounds in body colour, side skirts, new rear bumper trim, a rear apron with integrated diffuser and tail light décor.

In the cabin, the Anderson Germany has re-upholstered the seats in a combination of leather and alcantara with white diamond stitching. Lashing of white carbon trim are also found on the dashboard, centre console and door trims, while a high-end sound system with amplifier and subwoofer ensures the GTS fits in with the ‘doof-doof’ crowd.
