Claimed fuel efficiency is rated at 6.7L/100km thanks to standard engine start/stop and brake energy recuperation, as well as a coasting function – a feature of the Alltrack’s Eco drive mode, one of several adjustable settings available as part of the Alltrack’s driver profile selection that also includes sport and off-road modes.

To give the car a tougher stance, the Golf Alltrack sits up to 20mm higher than a standard Golf Wagon model, while wheel arch mouldings and flared side sills offer additional body protection. Rounding off the Alltrack’s exterior are newly designed bumpers with Bi-Xenon headlights with dynamic cornering function,17-inch ‘Valley’ alloy wheel and unique rear badging.
