Volkswagen freshens up 2016 Scirocco R with Black Style

Volkswagen has introduced the “Black Style” upgrade for the Scirocco R in Europe to keep the 8-year-old sports coupe fresh.

Launched in 2008 and based on the Golf V platform, the styling pack brings a black roof, which can be combined with Pure White, Urano Grey, Indium Grey Metallic, Rising Blue Metallic, Pyramid Golf Metallic, Ultra Violet Metallic and Oryx White pearl effect paints.

Matching the black theme is a set of black-finished 19-inch Lugano alloy wheels that come with theft-protection locks and shod in 235/35 tyres, along with black mirror caps.

The “Black Style” package costs €660 in Europe and is available only on the range-topping Scirocco R. It is not clear at this stage whether Volkswagen Australia will be offering the package to local customers.
