Video: Mercedes AMG GT officially teased

Mercedes-Benz has released yet another teaser video of their upcoming Mercedes AMG GT sports car.

The latest video takes a closer look at the heart of the Mercedes SLS AMG replacement – its twin-turbo 4.0-litre V8 engine that churns out 375kW of power and 650Nm of torque. In the clip, AMG CEO Tobias Moers, explains that “The engine is always the heart of an AMG. This is what AMG stands for, it’s what AMG was built upon.”

We also get a glimpse of one of the features known as the “driving experience switch” that allows drivers to dial in four different driving modes – each with their own unique exhaust note.

The Mercedes AMG GT is expected to be introduced at the Paris Motor Show this year, before hitting Australian shores in 2015.
