The highly anticipated Audi RS3 Sedan has been caught on video stretching its legs at the Nürburgring in Germany.

Set to go on sale sometime next year, the high-performance sedan will share the RS3 Sportback’s 2.5-litre turbocharged five-cylinder engine pumping out 270kW and 465Nm of torque sent to all four wheel via a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.

While the hyper hatch will hit 100km/h from a standstill in 4.3 seconds, expect the sedan to be slightly slower due to the extra weight.

Audi’s engineers can be seen pushing the RS3 Sedan to its limit to get try and get its dynamics right.

The sedan has been confirmed for a few markets, including the U.S. However, the model hasn’t officially been confirmed for Australia, but seeing how popular the S3 sedan is over here, we are confident the model will be headed here, too.
