Video: 2015 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 caught

2015 Ford Mustang spy photo

The 2015 Shelby GT350 prototype has been caught testing by the Mustang enthusiasts over at Mustang6G.

Clad in heavy camouflage, although we couldn’t see details of the car, its exposed quad-pipe exhaust arrangement tells us something mean is lurking underneath its bonnet. This is confirmed when we hear the sonorous engine noise from the car.

Little else is known at this stage about the model, but there are rumours that the new car will wear the Shelby GT350 or SVT 350 badge, instead of the Shelby GT500. Speculations are also rife that the model will drop the supercharged 5.8-litre V8 that generates 494kW and 854Nm of torque, for a new engine based on the 5.0-litre Coyote V8 that is said to produce considerably more than 335kW.

Check out the spy video below. Don’t forget to turn up the noise!
