A new video of the highly anticipated 2014 Nissan GT-R Nismo has surfaced following previous reports that the hardcore version of the Japanese supercar will rip the century spin in a staggering 2.0 seconds.

The video shows the Nissan GT-R Nismo pounding the infamous Nurburgring circuit in Germany, possibly undergoing testing in pursuit of cracking the lap time of 7 minutes and 18 seconds set by the current 2013 Nissan GT-R. Despite the heavily camouflaged exterior, it can be seen with a lower front bumper, deeper side skirts and a larger GT style rear spoiler.

At the recent Goodwood Festival of Speed a Nissan insider revealed details of the 2014 Nissan GT-R Nismo, including its mind blowing acceleration time. If true, the Nissan supercar will smash record as the fastest accelerating production car ever, leaping from standstill to 100 km/h faster than the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport or even the Hennessey Venom GT.

The Nismo edition will be the GT-R’s final hurrah with Nissan previously saying that it will be the “fastest” and “meanest” GT-R ever built. In addition to the performance tweaks, the supercar will also receive bespoke Nismo goodies such as carbon fiber aero panels, Nismo exhaust system and Nismo interior details.
