Victoria road and transport authority VicRoads will soon offer a special commemorative license plate to mark the Australian launch of the Ford Mustang.
The plates were a special request by Ford and designed around feedback provided by Mustang enthusiasts. Two color variants of the mustang plates will be offered and the size will be identical to that of the USA plates currently available (305mm (w) x 155mm (h)).
Existing custom plate customers will be able to restyle their plates to the Mustang theme for a fee of $195, New customers can purchase the plates for $495. The Mustang plates will be officially released on Wednesday 25th of November at 8:30am.
