Toyota will reveal the long-awaited production car based on the C-HR Concept at next week’s Geneva International Motor Show.

First unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show last year, the C-HR Concept features a bold design language that is said to project a confident and sporty look. It matches a stunning five-door coupé design to an elevated SUV-style cabin combined with a contemporary high-riding driving position.

The C-HR production model aims to give Toyota a powerful new presence in the fast-growing small SUV market, competing with the likes of Mazda CX-3, Honda HR-V and Nissan Juke. Based on Toyota New Global Architecture, it brings the promise of an engaging drive experience.

The announcement is accompanied by a sketchy teaser image (below) of the upcoming production car, showing the outline of the headlights and a hint of the crossover’s coupe-style roofline.
