Tesla offering 30-day Autopilot free trials

If you didn’t cough up the $4,500 for Tesla‘s Autopilot feature, you can now try the system free through a 30-day free trial offered on Tesla vehicles built after September 2014.

A Reddit user has shared an image of the trial window. It reads, “Try Autopilot Convenience Features and experience a stress-free commute.”

The trial provides complete and unrestricted use of the Autopilot system for 30-days, it includes automatic steering, automatic speed, lane changing and parking with Summon.

Customers opting into the trial will also receive instructions via email to permanently upgrade their vehicles.
