Renault has today announced the launch of a limited edition Clio R.S. The Clio R.S. Monaco GP was created as homage to Renault’s illustrious history in motor racing, and more recently, Formula 1.

Finished in exclusive Pearl White exterior body colour with contrasting Diamond Blackroof – a first for the Clio R.S. – the Clio R.S. Monaco GP is also embellished with Gloss Black decorative flourishes on the front blade, rear diffuser, side protective strips, door handles and door mirrors. The same colour is found on the rear spoiler, as well as the hatchback strip. Finally, a Monaco GP badge adorns the bodywork’s lower protective panels.

The limited edition Clio R.S. rides on the Cup chassis and features gloss black 18-inch Radicale alloy wheels shared with the Clio R.S. Cup model.

Inside, the cabin is dominated by complementary black and grey hues. Dark Metal decorative signatures can be found on the steering wheel, gear lever knob and gaiter, steering wheel boss and loudspeaker surrounds. Meanwhile, the seat belts are finished in Technique Grey.

The seats (heated at the front) are covered in ‘Riviera’ leather with grey stitching, while the numbered door sills feature Monaco GP branding. The standard Renault Sport floor mats come with a grey border.

Finally, the Clio R.S. Monaco GP gains extra-tinted rear and side windows.

The potent R.S. Monitor 2.0 telemetry system is available as standard. This provides access to the R.S. Replay function, the only system of its kind, which allows users to create and download racing circuits, to watch and review all the data logged during a track day and to share this information via social media networks.
