Porsche 911 Carrera S laps Nürburgring in 7:37.9

The latest Porsche 911 Carrera S has lapped the famed Nürburgring circuit in an impressive time of 7 minutes and 37.9 seconds, with Timo Kluck at the helm.

Timo is no stranger to motor racing, having entered 35 races with 3 wins and 11 podiums.

To put things in perspective, the 2010 Porsche 911 Turbo completed the same sprint in 7 minutes and 39 seconds.

Powered by a 3.8-litre boxer engine that churns out 294kW (394hp/400PS) and 440Nm (324 lb-ft) of torque, the 911 Carrera S does 0-100km/h in 4.0 seconds and has a top speed of 302km/h (188mph).
