New Range Rover Velar revealed in leaked images

The all-new Range Rover Velar has been fully unveiled in a series of leaked images published by Diariomotor.

Range Rover’s sexy new model carries an iteration of the Range Rover family look, along with flush-mounted door handles similar to those on the Tesla Model S and Nissan GT-R.

Update: Range Rover Velar officially unveiled – Specification and Pricing

Inside, the Velar features a concept car-like touchscreen surface for the car’s climate control as well as the brand’s InControl Touch infotainment display, while behind the full-size steering wheel pinched from the Range Rover hides a fully digital instruments panel.

As reported previously, the Velar will sit on the same aluminium-intensive platform as the Jaguar F-Pace. It is also expected to share the Jag’s range of engines, including JLR’s Ingenium range of petrol and diesel powerplants. A high-performance Velar SVR could be expected further down the track to rival the upcoming Mercedes-AMG GLC 63 and BMW X3M.

The Range Rover Velar will bow in officially at the Geneva Motor Show next week.
