Polish-based supercar maker, Arrinera Automotive, has unveiled their first supercar, the Hussarya. Designed by Pavlo Burkatskyy and developed in collaboration with Noble founder, Lee Noble, the Hussarya is a rather attractive supercar, with its raked windscreen, shallow glass house and bulbous wheel arches.

Powered by a GM-sourced 6.2-litre V8 engine with 485kW (650 bhp) and 818Nm (604 lb-ft) of torque directed at the rear axle through an automated-manual gearbox with paddle shifters developed by Italian-based CIMA.

Arrinera claims the car will rocket from 0-100km/h in just 3.2 seconds and hit the quarter mile in 11 seconds before reaching a top speed of 340km/h (211 mph).

According to its maker, the new supercar “will be unique in its aerodynamics and lightweight construction”, with an interior featuring “high quality leather and composite materials”. Unlike most other supercars these days, the Hussarya’s interior comes with few luxuries, apart from air conditioning and a standard audio system. Options include a thermal camera that monitors the road ahead for danger.

The car’s chassis is made from high-strength steel while the body panels are made of composite materials, with the possibility of opting for Kevlar and carbon fibre. It measures 4,450mm long, 2,056mm wide and is 1,190 in height. It sits on 19-inch wheels and tips the scales at 1,300kg.

The company plans to build around 100 cars per annum, with a price tag of around US$160,000
