Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution Updated for 2013 with Price Reduction

Mitsubishi Motors Australia has updated its fiery Lancer Evolution (2008 model shown above) range with better equipment and sharper pricing across the board.

Those wanting superfast gearshifts can opt for the Twin Clutch Sport Shift Transmission (TC-SST) for an extra $5,000, which comes complete with Brembo brakes. The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution is powered by an inter-cooled and turbocharged 2.0-litre DOHC MIVEC engine, producing 217kW of power at 6,500rpm and 366Nm of peak torque at 3,500rpm driving all four wheels.

Inside, the 2013 update brings a new audio system featuring a 6.1-inch full colour display with single CD player, iPod connectivity and rear view camera. The Evolution MR receives a bigger 7-inch touch screen with navigation and Bluetooth.

The ‘base’ model Evo Manual can now be enhanced with the Evolution Performance Pack for $3,000. The pack adds Brembo front brakes, Bilstein front and rear shock absorbers, Eibach front and rear springs and 18-inch BBS forged alloy wheels.
