Mercedes teases the ultimate in luxury Mercedes-Maybach Coupe

Mercedes-Benz has given us a glimpse of the Mercedes-Maybach Coupe, ahead of the ultra-luxury coupe’s debut at Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance next week.

The teaser image, released via social media, shows one of the sexiest silhouettes we’ve seen in a while; with an incredibly long bonnet, teardrop shaped cabin and a plunging tail.

Described as “Hot & cool – almost 6 metres of ultimate luxury” by Mercedes, the concept will no doubt be a showstopper at Pebble Beach.

While no other details have been released by Mercedes, the Maybach could be based on the stretched and modified platform of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe, just like the Maybach S600 is based on the S-Class sedan’s architecture.

As befitting its “ultimate luxury” status, we can expect the car to feature exquisite materials throughout, in order to compete with Rolls-Royce and Bentley.

Stay tuned for the car’s full unveiling next week.
