Mercedes-AMG GLC and GLE range pricing announced


Mercedes-AMG has announced pricing and specification for the brand’s latest range of high-performance SUVs.

Joining the AMG portfolio, the AMG GLC 43 and GLC 43 Coupe brings an AMG 3.0-litre V6 biturbo to the offer priced from $101,400 and $108,900 plus on-road costs respectively.

Serving up 270 kW of power, accompanied by 520 Nm of torque from 2500 – 4500 rpm, the engine is matched with a 9G-TRONIC nine-speed automatic transmission and a rear-biased AMG 4MATIC all-wheel drive system, allowing 0-100km/h sprint time of just 4.9 seconds.

Both models get AMG’s Air Body Control air suspension with specifically adapted Adaptive Damping System ADS PLUS offering variable driving modes.

Also fitted as standard are 21” AMG Wheels, AMG Body styling, leather upholstery, COMAND Online navigation, head-up display, Burmester surround sound and a Diamond grille.


For those requiring more space, the AMG GLE 43 and GLE 43 Coupe also join the range priced from $133,616 and $143,616 respectively.

Both models are powered by the same 270 kW / 520 Nm 3.0-litre V6 biturbo that also propels the AMG GLC variants and drive through a 9G-TRONIC nine-speed automatic transmission coupled to a rear-biased AMG 4MATIC all-wheel drive system.

The AMG GLE and GLE Coupe models score 21” AMG Wheels and 22” AMG Wheels respectively, AMG Body styling, DYNAMIC SELECT driving modes, AIRMATIC Air suspension, ACTIVE CURVE SYSTEM, Adaptive Damping System Plus and a Harman Kardon Logic 7 surround-sound system.

On the safety front all models arrive with nine airbags, a 360 degree camera, LED Intelligent Light System with Adaptive Highbeam Assist Plus, the Driver Assistance Package PLUS including Distronic Plus with Steering Assist, Active Lane Keeping Assist, Active Blind Spot Assist, PRE-SAFE Plus and PRE-SAFE Brake with pedestrian detection.
