Mazda UK has unveiled a limited edition MX-5 as the new top of the range model.
The Mazda MX-5 Sport Recaro edition is limited to just 600 cars in the UK and comes decked out with a Brilliant Black Sports Aero kit that includes a front lip spoiler, rear boot lid spoiler, rear skirts and side skirts. Accentuating the MX-5 sporty credentials further are piano black side mirrors and a set of 17-inch diamond cut alloy wheels with engraved MX-5 logo.
As its name suggests, the cabin of the Mazda MX-5 Sport Recaro edition features a pair of leather-Alcantara Recaro seats with heating. Alcantara also adorns the roadster’s dashboard for a more premium look.
The eye candies aside, the Sport Recaro edition comes standard with LED headlights, DAB radio, Bose sound system and satellite navigation.
Available exclusively with the 118kW/200Nm 2.0-litre SKYACTIV-G petrol engine paired with a six-speed manual gearbox, the MX-5 Sport Recaro also gains Bilstein dampers, limited slip differential and strut tower brace.
