Limited Edition 2016 Scion FR-S RS 2.0, only 1,000 will be made

Scion will be producing a very limited production run of the 2016 RS 2.0, the successor to the 2015 FR-S RS 1.0. Scion described the RS 2.0 as the “most stylish version of the sports car” yet.

The exclusive/upgraded FR-S comes equipped with a classier exterior complete with 17 inch forged wheels, redesigned aero kit and unique Lunar Storm paint work.

The inside received a similar overhaul with featured upgrades such as Camel-colored accents, steering wheel, leather shift knob and parking lever. The same camel trim is also used on the door armrest and upper door trims. The center console has also been wrapped in black leather laced with camel colored stitching. The same stitching is used through the vehicle including the dash inserts that contain the vehicles sequentially numbered serial number and series badge.

Performance wise the RS 2.0 is the same as the existing models with the notable exception of the new Dynamic Rev Management technology. The vehicle will be offered in 6-speed manual or optional 6-speed auto with paddle shifters.

Unfortunately Australia will not receive this vehicle, we can only hope Toyota or Subaru come to the plate and provide their own exclusive models for our market.
