Lexus Previews LF-Gh Hybrid Concept

Japenese luxury car maker, Lexus has released the first official teaser shots of the new LF-Gh Hybrid concept car. The car is due to make its public debut at the New York International Auto Show.

Lexus said the LF-Gh, which stands for Lexus Future Grand Touring Hybrid, “sets out to redefine the premium grand touring sedan.” The car’s design is an evolution of the brand’s L-Finesse design philosophy, which debuted on the IS250. The new LF-Gh though will take the design language to a new level, with a bolder and more distinct appearance. It will also be a preview to the styling direction of future Lexus vehicles.

It is speculated that the LF-Gh Hybrid concept, is in fact a sneak peak of the next generation GS saloon, given the letter “G” in the car’s name.

The two teaser photos show fragments of the front and rear ends, which display more aggressive and sharp looking headlights and taillights. It also appears that the new car will sport a massive grille, flanked by an aerodynamic slit on each corner of the sculpted front bumper. The sleek rear lamps look more show car than production ready though.

Lexus has not unveil any technical details about its hybrid concept at this stage. Stay tuned as we will bring you more from the New York Auto Show.
