Lexus GS F spied almost undisguised

We have known for some time now that Lexus is working on a range topping F model for the company’s GS model. Now we have proof of it. Best Car magazine from Japan has caught an undisguised prototype out testing on the streets.

The latest prototype shows a carbon fibre lower front skirt and lip spoiler, Lexus’ trademark F double-stacked quadpipes, along with large double-spoke grey alloy wheels and more carbon fibre on the door handles and mirror housings. It also shows the fast GS will sport a wider front fender with air vent behind the front wheels.

Power is likely to come from a 5.0-litre naturally aspirated V8 generating 342kW mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. Other sporty bits will include high-performance brakes, a sport tuned suspension and modified interior trim.

The Lexus GS F is expected to bow in sometime next year.
