Lamborghini Urus Pick Up truck, anyone?

Now that Mercedes-Benz has jumped onto the ‘ute-wagon’ with its X-Class, it isn’t hard to imagine others following suite. What if Lamborghini decides to offer a super-ute for the well heeled?

X-Tomi Design has created just such a model with this Urus Pick Up. And while this is a wild idea, we think it looks fantastic, as the long wheelbase seems to suit the Urus better.

Needless to say, it is unlikely the Urus Pick Up would jump of the computer screen into reality as Lamborghini has to intention to create any other variants besides it three core models – the Aventador, Huracan and Urus.

To recap, the Urus is the first ‘super-SUV’ capable of hitting 100km/h from a standstill in a blistering 3.59 seconds, thanks to its 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 churning out 484kW and 850Nm of torque.

Lamborghini forecasts it will deliver more than 3,500 units of the Urus annually worldwide, with big hopes on the burgeoning Chinese market where premium brands are enjoying healthy sales.
