Jaguar F-Type Price & Specs announced – from $139,000

Jaguar Australia has announced the pricing for the company’s much anticipated Jaguar F-Type sports car. To be available in three variants – F-Type, F-Type S and F-Type V8 S, Jaguar’s first full-blooded sports car to be launched in more than 50 years will start from $139,000 plus on-roads.

Each variant is distinguished by the power output of its supercharged petrol engine, with all engines featuring stop/start technology for fuel efficiency and an 8-speed quickshift automatic sequential gearbox.

The entry level F-Type features a 250kW 3.0-litre supercharged V6 petrol engine that is capable of propelling the car from 0-100km/h in 5.3 seconds and has a top speed of 260km/h.

Standard equipment includes Jaguar Performance Braking System with Silver callipers, sports suspension, sports centre mounted twin exhaust, 18-inch Velo alloy wheels, leather and suede upholstered sports seats, 3-spoke leather steering wheel with black gear shift paddles and centre console in light hex aluminium finish.

The $171,400 (plus on-roads) mid-range F-Type S comes with a 280kW 3.0-litre supercharged V6 petrol engine. 0-100km/h is taken cared in 4.9 seconds, while top speed is rated at 275km/h.

The extra coins buy Jaguar Performance Braking System with Red callipers, adaptive sports suspension, centre mounted active sports exhaust with twin pipes, 19-inch Propeller Silver alloy wheels, limited slip differential, leather sports seats, 3-spoke leather steering wheel with Ignis gear shift paddles, centre console in dark hex aluminium and ‘S’ graphic and configurable ambient interior lighting with a selectable palette.

The range-topping F-Type V8 S comes in at $202,300 plus on-roads and is delivered with a 364kW 5.0-litre supercharged V8 petrol engine. It will dash to 100km/h from a standstill in 4.3 seconds, on route to a top speed of 300km/h.

The V8 is set apart by its 20-inch Turbine Silver alloy wheels, active sports exhaust with quad pipes, Jaguar Performance Braking System with Red callipers, adaptive sports suspension, electronic active differential, leather sports seats and 3-spoke leather steering wheel with Ignis gear shift paddles.

All Jaguar F-Type’s also comes with Free Scheduled Servicing for 3 years or 100,000km.
