Images of Porsche 911 Carrera 4 and 4S leaked

These images of the new 2013 991 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 and Carrera 4S appears to be official images leaked online. The all-paw 911 isn’t due for its official debut until the 2012 Paris Motor Show in September.

Traditionally, the all-wheel drive version of the 911 arrives in showrooms a few months after its rear-wheel drive counterparts. As expected, full specification of the Carrera 4 and 4S are still under wraps but they are very likely to be motivated by the same powerplants found in the rear drive Carrera and Carrera S.

This means the entry level Carrera 4 will be powered by the 3.4-litre naturally aspirated flat-six generating 257kW (345hp/349PS), while the Carrera 4S will use the 3.8-litre naturally aspirated flat-six generating 294kW (394hp/400PS).

With better traction, the all-wheel drive variants are expected to hit 0-100km/h a few tenths quicker. Like its two wheel drive counterparts, both models are expected to be offered with Porsche’s new 7-speed manual or dual-clutch PDK gearbox.

Full update, specification and pricing will be coming in the next few weeks.
