Hyundai HCD-14 Concept teaser image

Hyundai has released a teaser image of the company’s premium concept car, which will be unveiled at the upcoming Detroit Motor Show.

The HCD-14 concept is said to preview the next-generation Genesis luxury sedan, a model that is currently not sold in Australia. It is a four-door with a coupe like roofline, similar to the Mercedes-Benz CLS and Audi A7.

No technical details have been released at this stage about the HCD-14 – so-called as it is the 14^th model to come out of Hyundai’s California Design Studio – but Hyundai has said the car will offer “advanced 3-D gesture-based technology controls and spirited driving dynamics.”

The car will be unveiled fully in Detroit on the 14 January.
