A near production-ready Honda NSX has been spotted undergoing testing at the Nurburgring circuit. It’s the first time the supercar is seen without camouflage at the test track and the action has been captured on film.

Gearing towards an early 2016 launch, the Honda NSX is powered by a twin-turbo 3.5-litre V6 hybrid engine developing in excess of 405kW (550hp), channeled to all four wheels via the company’s Sport Hybrid Super Handling All-Wheel Drive system and nine-speed dual clutch transmission.

The Honda NSX rolls on 19-inch front and 20-inch rear wheels wrapped in 245/35Z R19 front and 295/30Z R20 rear tyres. Stopping power comes courtesy of carbon ceramic brakes clamped by six-piston front, and four-piston rear calipers.
