Holden Captiva gets Apple CarPlay & Android Auto with MY16 update

The MY16 Holden Captiva will receive a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as part of its facelift.

Set to go on sale in early 2016, the Captiva also gain a revised front fascia consisting of a new grille and LED Daytime Running Lights.

On the safety front, key safety features now include Side Blind Zone Alert and Rear Cross Traffic Alert, along with ISOFIX child seat capability and Park Assist.

As part of the 2016 update, Holden has simplified the Captiva range by dropping the outgoing Captiva 5. The Captiva 7 is now available with both five and seven seat options and a variety of powertrain and trim levels.

Inside, Holden has introduced a cleaner, more contemporary centre infotainment panel housing the latest MyLink technology including a rear view camera as standard.

The Captiva is also covered by Holden’s Lifetime Capped Price Service programme designed to give customers peace of mind.
